A Tip on Cholestrol

A tip on managing bad and good cholestrol--- grind 1/2 tsp each of cummin seeds(jeera) and coriander seeds (dhania) and soak the powder in a cup of water overnight.Strain it well in the morning and drink in the empty stomach half an hour before taking coffee or any drink. This reduces bad cholestrol and converts bad into good cholestrol. Read this in a magazine under ayurvedic remedy.Seems to be harmless and good.

Tips on Lips

Tips on Lips                                             

This is not for regular users of lipstick. This is only for those who would like to have natural smooth rosy, shining lips. I read all this tips somewhere and am sharing with you all. Those interested can try if time permits.
  1. Mix one tsp of butter with one tsp of glycerine and apply on the lips thrice a week before going to bed to get rid of dark shades on the lips.
  2. Grind coriander leaves well and apply it to the lips, the black shade will be gone!!
  3. To have beautiful rosy lips, get 3 fresh roses, grind them well with glycerine, apply it to the lips before going to bed, wash the lips well in the morning to have really rosy lips.
  4. Pudina juice is an excellent herbal remedy for soft and rosy lips.Apply the juice daily for 5 minutes to have smooth lips.
  5. If all these are laborious process, apply coconut oil or castor oil on the lips before going to bed regularly. Smooth shining lips will be yours.
  6. Mix one tsp of lime juice with one tsp of cream and apply it to lips as well as to the face one hour before taking bath to have a glittering face with smooth lips.
  7.  Apply a small ice cube to the lips before applying lipstick.The lipstick will stay fresh for a long time.
  8. Mix 2 tsp of curd with one tsp of lime and apply it one hour before having bath. Wash the face preferably with gram flour to have a smooth face and shining lips.
  9. Papaya is the best beauty fruit. Mash it well and apply it to the face and on the lips just for ten minutes and then wash it well, tell me how you feel!!!
  10. Banana milk shake is good for drinking as well as for applying to the face before going to a party. Apply it for half an hour and wash it well.The feeling of freshness is something to experience.

Tip on Water

Just read in a magazine that soft drinks and tea or coffee drains the water from the body to some  extent.But we cannot be without them, To make it alright drink a cup of water after 10 to 15 minutes. Moreover, whenever you are agitated or tensed over something, drink 2 cups of water at a stretch, mind will cool down quickly. May be true, should try it out. The more I read about water, more I drink it.Good.

Some Beauty Tips

1.Grind ripe pappaya fruit with curd and apply the paste to face for 10 minutes and wash.You will have a smooth, shining face.A very simple facial to come handy before going to a party or function!!
2. Take a handful of Tulsi leaves, grind into smooth paste, apply to hair for 15 minutes and wash thoroughly to have shining and lice free hair.Good for school going kids.
3. Do not throw away the tea leaves after extracting dicoction. Mix the tea dust with lime juice and apply to hair before headbath.Keep it for half and hour and wash to have a silky shining hair, with a beautiful colour.
4. Munch apple pieces daily to have healthy gums and strong teeth.
5. Take 10 black pepper and 2 garlic flakes,grind them to a smooth paste.Add 3 tsp of ginglee oil and heat it well.When warm, massage well on the head and rest for half an hour.Then have a nice warm bath. Any type of headache due to tension or heat or bright light will go away and you will have a sweet and peaceful sleep.
6. Make fresh grape juice with a little saffron.Drink half a cup of this juice daily to have blemish free soft skin.
7. Banana stem ( vazhai thandu) juice taken daily will help in reducing unwanted grid around the tummy!!!
8. Add a tsp of salt in a bowl filled with warm water.Keep your feet in it for half an hour and clean the nails with an old toothbrush.No pedicuring is necessary. Save money!!!
9. Apply a little coconut oil to hair before going to bed daily and brush the hair at least 20 times.Sure to get a long and thick hair in course of time.Don't forget to have a towel over the pillow!!!
10. Take a tsp of thick milk cream, add one tsp of lime juice to it, mix well, apply it to the face and neck 15 minutes before having bath.After bath, you will have a clean fresh and smooth facial skin.

34.  It is wonderful to know that cooked groundnut is the best immune booster  to the body. It  has the property to kill germs to a great extent and it acts as an excellent  fighter against  harmful bacteria’s and virus. It acts as a good agent   in keeping the body young.

35.    For cracks in heels in winter, cut a lime into two and rub it on the cracks at night, wash it well in the morning. This will help a lot instead of using other creams.

36.    This tip is mainly for people like me who talk a lot. For each word that we speak, 72 muscles act at the same time. The more we speak, the more we use those muscles. That weakens the muscles far ahead of age. This explains why for some people, there are so many wrinkles on the face than others. So I tell you, silence is gold.

37.     In Australia, there is a large bird called Kookaburra, with a loud call that will sound like     laughter. When they are happy, they laugh a lot just like humans!!

Tip on Eye Care

29.    Turmeric powder is a greatest  natural food against diseases. It is said having a light coating of turmeric paste in the throat at night will correct the mal functioning of gall bladder, correcting bile flow from the liver.
 
30.    Turmeric powder is an antiseptic for wounds. Adding it to food items, strengthens the heart. It is a blessing for skin protection.

31.     Carrot is a very good appetizer. When tummy is dull, cook carrot and take the juice by grinding it, add a little salt and drink. In no time hunger will resume with double strength.

32.    When gold ornaments become dull, dip them in jaggary solution for a while and wash them well with soap solution. They will glitter again like new ones.

33.    Do you know, at the age of 25, eyes tire out once in 45 minutes, at 15, they will tire out once in 35 minutes, at 12 years, in 25 minutes, at 9years, in 15 minutes. So at that interval, it is better to give the eyes some rest. Just relax body and mind closing the eyes for 5 minutes. That will freshen you up like anything. The problem of dark circles and sagging undereyes will not crop up.

Tip on Nails

25.    Tomatoes are rich in vitamins, low in fat and kilojoules and packed with fiber and potassium.

26. In winter when people drive two wheelers, it is better to fold a newspaper & keep it inside the    T-  shirt in the chest. This will prevent from getting frequent cold and very good for asthma patients.

27.    Have a problem of nails breaking often before growing long? Mix lime juice with Listerine  and immerse nails for 10 minutes twice a month.You will have shiny long nails.

28.    Do not throw away lime skins. Clean the nails with it, you will have wonderful nails, clean and soft.

29. Heat olive oil a little and dip fingers in it for 10 minutes and wipe off. Nails will have a polish on        them and grow beautifully well.

12.    Ginger tea will set right mild stomach upset. Better to have it without milk. Mix one teaspoon of honey and half a teaspoon of lime juice in hot tea without milk, swallow it slowly keeping it for long in the throat. Throat irritation and mild sore throat will become all right.

13.    Do not exercise before going to bed. Best time for exercise is early morning. Exercise will produce heat in the body and that will disturb the night sleep to a very great extent.

3. Ants will always go in a line. They follow the line because of a scent called Pheromone, they leave behind their path. The other ants follow it. Just try rubbing off the floor after a small line of ants pass by, the others that follow will run here and there as they have lost the trailing smell. This will help in preventing the ants from coming.

4. Potato is definitely non – fattening contrary to popular belief. They do have carbohydrates but they are energy giving variety. The fattening mischief is done by fries, chips and other oil mixtures. Plain baked potato with a little pepper salt is really good.

2. Thick curd reduces longevity because of the fat content,whereas diluting it with plenty of water and drinking it as thin buttermilk increases the longevity.In growing children, buttermilk helps to increase their height.Why not try??
